1. Low-power electric filesSometimes your electric file is not filing the product off and stucks into it. That could happen if you use a file slower than 30 watts.
So the solution is to use more powerful file - more than 30 watts ones.2. Diamond or sand drill bitsYou could use any bit and it`s not a mistake. But if you use carbide or ceramic bit they will make the proces faster. That`s because they have fluets so they peel off more product. Diamond or sand drill bits scratch the surface which is also good for removal but it takes more time and these bits will heat more.
That could be uncomfortable for your client.
3. Low speedThis mistake is really common among the beginners. We understand it could be scary to use a high speed with your nail file when you just getting started. But 10.000 rotations per minute is not fast enough for these flutes to actually file off some product. So the drill bit will start scratching the surface, keep spinning and heating up the nail but the product will stay at its place. Do not be afraid and use at least 15.000 rotations per minute.4. Filing the natural nailDrill bits are too abrasive and hursh for our nails. The goal of nail polish removal is to keep natural nails safe. When we peel off the product we should take the color and leave a thin layer of base coat remaning on the nail and not even touch the natural nail. The base coat will naturally grow off.
